2019: Our Year in Pictures
2019 was a year filled with change, growth and travel for our team. We cut ties with our old broker-dealer, moved into our new office and managed to serve some of our favorite community causes while taking care of our clients. Below are some of our personal and professional highlights of the year:
The biggest project we’ve taken on was converting the old Giada Salon into 5 professional offices and a conference room… We couldn’t be happier with the way our contractors and engineers brought our ideas to life!
In 2019 we again sponsored the cup raffle at the Butte County Farm Bureau Summer BBQ. It’s always a fun event with great friends and food
Renee won access to a suite, so in June we took our team and families to the Giants/Dodgers game

We went to a conference at the Claremont Hotel In Berkeley hosted by Orion, our reports provider. The property was historic, beautiful and there were some great break out sessions on the future of financial planning
Pimco Invited us down to meet a portfolio manager and tour their beautiful office in Newport Beach. They’re one of the leading bond market investment firms and we appreciated the opportunity to ask questions which could inform the way we manage client portfolios
Fidelity’s annual west coast conference in Dana point was filled with hundreds of firms just like ours. We heard about the future of Fintech, investment, tax and estate strategies, and best practices. The view wasn’t bad either!
We were proud to support the Enloe Heart and Sole run. a great fundraiser for an exceptional and important community staple.
The Run Around the Rice is a unique 5k fundraiser we’re proud to support- It’s a rare running track and supports Gridley Schools!
Renee serves on the Salvation Army board, and we’re proud supporters every year. It’s hard to imagine an organization that has as much hands-on impact in our community.
One way we support the Salvation Army is by sponsoring the annual Santa Shuffle
Renee and Katie’s CWA involvement took them to Sacramento to meet legislators and promote ideas that can help our local agricultural economy
CWA’s annual conference was in Solvang California- Katie and Renee hear about issue up and down the state, then toured various ag related businesses in the area
Karla and Katie Represented our team well in Tracy at a client golf tournament that feeds over 1,000 families every holiday season!
Joe Co-Chaired the Enloe Golf Tournament, which saw an exceptional turnout and unbelievable community support!
Renee served her final year as CWA president, speaking at the annual steak and prawn dinner and put together a cupcake arrangement for the live auction
Karla visited various colleges with her family including Boise state with the infamous Blue football field!
Renee did some traveling to Moab, Georgia, Maryland, Lodi and Las Vegas
We wrapped up the year ringing the bell for the Salvation Army in December!
