Community Involvement: Chico's Salvation Army Community Center Grand Opening

Our company proudly supported the Salvation Army’s new building Grand Opening this last weekend. The day featured a Madison Bear burgers and dogs, Shuberts ice cream, a dodgeball tournament, face painter, and stations where kids could try out instruments, bubbles & shapes.

The new Community Center has been years in the making, and Renee Michel has been a board member for over 4 years helping the organization get to this point. It’s been a joy watching the Chico individuals and businesses support this organization, which truly is “Doing The Most Good” in our community. Whether it’s homelessness prevention, adult rehabilitation, emergency disaster services or youth programs, they are helping meet the immediate needs of our local citizens!

The grand opening of the new center was a wonderful time, and we look forward to all the positive impact this organization will have for our community!
